Planets Through the Signs

If you don't have a copy of your birth chart you can easily look up the sign for the planets Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto by clicking on the tables below. For example, if you want to know which sign has Mars in your chart and your birth date is 5^th March 1951 click on the table for Mars and you will see that for birth dates between 1^st March 1951 until 10:35 on 10^th April Mars was in Aries. Times given are for United Kingdom.

Where there is more that one date given for a planet's sign this is because the planet has gone retrograde. A planet is said to be retrograde when it appears to be going backwards in the sky as it is seen from earth. Because of this you will notice that in the table a planet appears to move from one sign into another then back again before moving forward once more. For instance if you look at the table for Venus you will see on the 5^th Jan 1937 it is in Scorpio, moving forward into Sagittarius on 13^th March then moving back into Scorpio on 14^th May before moving once again into Sagittarius on 8^th August.
