Saturn Uranus Opposition

Fear is stalking the land, everywhere you look there’s bad news scaremongering and woe. But here’s a thing about the current Saturn/Uranus opposition, it can be viewed as either a scary thing which is going to bring the bad man knocking at the door (Saturn) or a breath of creative fresh air (Uranus) which helps to break out of the old Saturnian ways of doing and being.
Personally, I often wonder how frightened the political rulers, the heads of media organisations and big corporate executives are, they appear to be doing their best to scare the living daylights out of the rest of us to the point where we’d become afraid to go out at night or buy anything just in case the bad man comes calling! It seems to me everywhere I look business is cutting back, running down their stock levels and generally behaving as if the end has come. One of the knock on effects of this is of having existing customers go elsewhere to buy the stuff they want and need. It then turns into a self fulfilling cycle of cutting back and cutting back some more until there is nothing left and bleeding to death is the outcome.
Poor Mr Saturn what a hard time he gets he only wants us to take care and look after ourselves. Squeezing all the joy and happiness out of life is not what he is about. For some that is obviously the case but it need not be. Uranus the diviner creator of new ideas can be just as strong and as useful an energy to listen too.
Mary Quant, the fashion design queen of mini skirted 60’s Britain was saying recently how this can be an exciting and profitable time of discovery using the innovative ways needed to overcome the effects of (you can supply your own word or words) the current economic malarkey. It’s hard at this present time to hear the voice of Uranus over the din of all the Saturnian clamour that’s going on.
