Venus Goes Retrograde 7th March 17:17 GMT
Today Venus, patron saint of hairdressers, fashion designers and fashionable punters everywhere, turns retrograde. This heavenly event happens once every 18 months and lasts for around 40 days and 40 nights. Venus, being the heavenly hedonist, means this is a great time for revisiting your favourite restaurants, having a change of haircut or a revamp of the wardrobe ect.
When a planet turns retrograde it appears from our vantage point on earth to change direction and travel in the opposite direction. Next time you pass a mirror, stop, check it out and ask yourself self if it’s time for a change of direction. If you are tired of looking at the same old you then grab the bull by the horns and have a change.
Venus, ruler of Taurus the Bull, is a happy hedonist and with all the doom and gloom being spread about it is past time we all cheered up. It might not be the best of time to be selling shares, Venus retrograde might pull the markets lower but it might be a good time to buy. Personally I would prefer a new suit rather than some cheap tatty bank shares.
Venus is also very cosy with the sign of Libra and as Libra is the sign of partnerships now is a good time to have a look at them. Partnerships are not only about your nearest and dearest they take in partnerships on all kinds of levels. The stores you shop in and the banks you owe money to form partnerships with us. It could be that now is a good time to change shopping habits. The corner grocer’s shop might be a much nicer and friendlier place to visit compared to some big corporate monster grocers. It might be harder to find an ethical bank but it might be worth writing to the one you use and tell them what you really think of the way they have been conducting their affairs.
